I have more than 20 years experience in providing stress management and well-being training, helping individuals or organisations to deal with stress-related issues.
I run both public and in-house programmes designed to address the issues of stress in the workplace.
I offer practical stress management (courses/workshops/ lunchtime drop ins) designed to teach participants to understand the causes and affects of their own stress and to help them deal with it more effectively.
Practical Stress Management Training
These sessions provide practical techniques and strategies for recognising and dealing with stress.
My aim is to provide support and encouragement for participants with the opportunity to think and talk, and to learn simple but effective relaxation techniques and strategies which they can use in every day life to prevent the build up of tension, whilst maximising energy, efficiency and enjoyment.
Well-being Courses
The courses show how to we can optimise our mental well-being, how the choices that we make about how we spend our time can have a dramatic effect on our long term mental health.
The courses afford the opportunity for participants to reflect and learn how to improve their own sense of well-being, how to plan, rather than letting life happen to them.
Five simple ways to Well-being - Strive for 5
The course, based on recent research and recommendations by the government's Foresight project on Mental capital and Well-being, recommends 5 evidence-based actions, that if practiced regularly, will lead to happier and more fulfilled lives.
